Many congratulations go out to Liang (Michael) Zhao who successfully completed his Commercial Flight Test today! On hand to congratulate Mr. Zhao were (left to right), John Goedhart - Check Pilot and Assistant to the Chief Pilot for Carson Air, Andrew Rice and Chris Martiniuk - SIFC Instructors, and Marc Vanderaegen - Flight School Director.

Mr. Zhao is now starting his Flight Instructor Rating with the intention to teach his fellow classmates in the future. Cheers Liang!

 

2011 Commercial Aviation Diploma program BBQ a Global success! - September 6, 2011

Over 90 attendees made the Commercial Aviation Diploma BBQ a great way to network, with representation from as far away as China, Switzerland, France, the Canadian Arctic, Prairie and Eastern Provinces, Moscow and Kelowna itself.
CAD BBQ Some of the companies represented were: Dax Air, Kenn Borek Air, NavCanada, CASARA, Buffalo Airways, Air Canada, Jazz, the Ninety-Nines, Kelowna Shell Aerocentre, Carson Air, Kelowna Flightcraft, Okanagan College, Valley First Credit Union, the Kelowna Flying Club.
